When I designed cards for my December Stamps in the Mail Club kit, I knew that the umbrella die cut from the Weather Together bundle would be perfect for dimensional looks. This card may not be 3D, but with the window sheet used as the base material, the inside of the card becomes the outside!
See how cute it looks when the window sheet card is opened? Such a treat! The layers work together beautifully on each part of the card.
Designing for window sheet cards is always extra fun. Not only to you have to think about the look from the front, but you also want to consider how the layers line up when you open the card and look through from the inside or the back.
Window Sheets also show whatever adhesive you’re using, so be sure your layers cover all the adhesive (plan card layers for 4 places…front, inside front, inside and back). Not sure about where all the pieces go or show through? That’s what my video tutorial will give you – see this card created and learn how to make your own.
