Don’t you love it when you can open a card and still see some of the decoration from the card front? The Peekaboo Edge Cards are perfect with that design. And designing these is pretty simple. Just pull some of the decor from the front of the card to the inside and trim away card front to show off the pieces you’ve moved!
For example, on this Takeout Treats card featuring the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Blackberry Bliss paper layer could certainly be glued to the card front. But why? By cutting away the right-hand 1″ of the Petal Pink card front, the Blackberry Bliss layer can shine through from the inside!
Don’t limit yourself to straight edges, either. This Oh So Eclectic card from my blog uses the same Peekaboo Edge Card trick, but I added stamped flower images at the edge rather than cutting a straight line.
