How To Make a Four Square Card Like a Pro

June 15, 2018 By Meg Loven 2 Comments

Sometimes when I sit down to make a card, nothing comes to mind.  That’s when I turn to my bag of ‘design tricks’ and pick a card layout that looks like a good fit for the stamp set I’d like to use.  I don’t really have a bag though. Instead, I keep a few favorite cards around my studio to inspire my new creations. If you don’t have a studio space handy, try keeping a small tin of cards – select your favorites and have them on hand.

Here are some tips for assembling a Four Square Card. Feature blocks are one of my favorite design tricks. Try a grouping of 4 or 6 or 9 when you have a stamp set with lots of fun pieces. Be sure to check some past Four Square Card and Sampler Frame examples from my blog.

Meg I love this card, I have seen lots of card designs with the SU Varied Vases Stamp set but nothing at all like yours. I love the way that you have altered one of the vases to be the height you wanted it to be. Also that you haven’t stamped all of the flowers out, in some just parts of the flowers are stamped out. Thank you for sharing this idea with us crafters. :O)
