Cutting Instructions for the Zig Zag Card

  1. Cut Designer Series Paper to 5-1/2″ x 12″
  2. Mark at 1-1/2″ on one end and 4″ at the other end
  3. Use a Paper Trimmer to connect the two marks, creating two long triangle card bases
  4. Fold the long triangle into thirds, keeping the bottom edges aligned

Got it?  If you watch the video tutorial, you can see the process in action — plus tips for getting each panel to line up as you assemble the layers of your zig zag card.

  1. Hi,

I have been playing around with three-fold cards like this this week and was surprised and delighted to see your take on them. I really like the idea of putting the false back on the last fold but the way this one comes together right from the front is gorgeous. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Kind regards
    Julie

    • You’re so very welcome, Julie! Thanks for your kind words! Yes, it’s sometimes fun to twist an old idea around and make it into something new :) I’m all about figuring out new and simple ways to create! Glad this was a helpful idea!

      Happy Stamping!
