Are there Garden Tour signs up in your town? Around here, signs are springing up for the annual “Garden Walks” to show off the fantastic yards around the area. If you’ve been stamping lately, you can create your own Garden Walk, starting with the Flower Garden Impressions Folder for the Big Shot (see it online).
This card is one of those ‘simply elegant’ varieties, not too showy, but with a nice shape and touch of color. Maybe like a really nice tulip in a spring garden? In any case, it’s a fun an easy way to use the Flower Garden Embossing Folder to create a card. The Postage Stamp Punch and the Pretty Postage stamp set (thanks, thanks, thanks) are a quick accent with the Poppy Parade Poly-Ribbon piece.
Another fun trick for this card? You can mail it in a Clear Translucent Envelope (see them online) and just write the mailing address on the back of your card before sliding it into the envelope! It will cost an extra $0.20 in the US to mail the clear cello envelopes, but I think the surprise when your recipient opens their mailbox is definitely worth 20 cents more.
Watch for another of my Garden Tour projects tomorrow!
Happy Stamping!
