With the end of the school year approaching, everyone’s looking for a sweet treat that’s easy to make. Or thinking about wedding favors? Also a great idea! This 6 Pocket Treat Holder is a perfect fit. Just grab some 6″x6″ squares of Designer Series Paper (you pick the theme) and get ready to start folding. This project is simple and fun, and the pockets are perfect for chocolate squares, tea bags or other little treats.
Thanks to Mary Ellen Stites, my fellow LovenStampfuls demonstrator, for the original inspiration for this treat holder. The version she created only had one folded square of paper (to create two pockets) but I needed more spots for treats, so I added two more pocket pairs.
The dimensions I’ll share here create a pocket that’s about 3″ wide, but you could make them a bit wider with 6″ x 6″ paper by bringing the sides in less, or you can adapt for a wider square of paper. The 6″ size goes perfectly with Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper Stacks – or cut a 12″ square into 4 pieces.
Need more pockets? No worries – just keep folding and keep adding sections! This project makes a terrific pocket photo album, too – perfect size for the wallet size photos that kids trade at school. Just make a little 3″ x 3″ card for each photo and tuck them inside!

What an adorable idea and I’m a tea lover so it makes it twice as nice. Thank you for helping us be creative, Meg.
Any time! So glad you enjoy it :) But as a tea drinker, do you buy tea bags? Or loose tea? Just curious. I had a loose tea that I loved for awhile and ended up making my own tea bags.
