YES, It Fits Gift Cards! How to Hack Stampin’ Up!®’s North Pole Delivery Suite

Make your own DIY gift card holder with the Jolly Delivery Dies – with just a small crafting hack from Meg. The Jolly Delivery stamp and die bundle includes a cute envelope die to make dimensional boxes – 2 1/2 x 3 x 1/2 inches, but that’s too small for a gift card. Never fear, I’ve got a hack to create the perfect size gift card holder – a couple of snips and the North Pole Delivery Suite makes idea DIY gift card holders.

There are two things you’ll need to know – and one is a bit of a ‘dangerous stamping’ tip, so be sure to follow the directions in the video carefully. The easy part? Snip away the four tab corners. The other part is to move the die for the tabs down instead of placing it at the top of the envelope flap. This is the part that I recommend watching for details. Or skip moving the die and create the dimensional gift card holder – as I show in the video tutorial.

The tag for the gift card mini envelope is easy to make over and over again with the images from the Jolly Delivery stamp set and the North Pole Delivery Designer Series Paper – both the full sheets AND the pre-cut elements. Just mix and match your favorite house or holiday shop with a speedy delivery truck.

For the background of the tag, feel free to feature the postage theme with the Perennial Postage Dies, or make it simple with a 2 3/8 inch circle punch. Either way, make sure your delivery truck is rushing TO the building, rather than away, to complete the happy delivery theme.

Finally, remember that ribbons and twines can be easily paired for extra fun and texture on a project. The Fluffy Trim here fits perfectly into a hole created with the Holes Punch Assortment set, and ties onto the gift card holder easily with the Red & White Baker’s Twine. Neither the Fluffy Trim (too thick to tie easily) nor the Baker’s Twine (too thin to be a feature element) would be perfect on its own, but together they create the ideal look for attaching our tag.
