Technique Tuesday Video: Coloring with Washi Tape

Coloring with Washi Tape: Technique Tuesday Video Tutorial from LovenStamps

Want to learn a new coloring technique?  Try using WASHI TAPE to color your images!  It’s super simple and creates a terrific effect.

Here are a few places to try coloring with washi tape:

  • flowers
  • character images (people or animals)
  • geometric shapes

Really, anywhere that you’d do a coloring technique like markers or Blendabilities (more on those later!) you can try Color with Washi Tape instead.

Here’s a simple graphic to help you remember: (perfect for pinning!)

  1. Hi Meg.
Great job on the video tutorial on washi tape coloring.
What is the cost on your stamps in the mail.
And do you have the option to cancel at any time, or do you have to join for a number
    of months
    A reply would be appreciated.
    Thanks, Virginia

    • Hi Virginia! The SITM kits are meant to be done for 3 months in a row (the projects build on each other) but it’s perfectly fine to just try it out for a month! You pay separately each month, so it’s easy to decide not to continue with the following month. For the record, most of my subscribers continue for a year or more, so I’m thinking everyone likes it too much to stop once they get started ;) Cost is $45 for each month and includes about $30 in Stampin’ Up! product. I’ll send you an email with more details.
