Table Favors, DIY Gift Card Holders, Sweet Treats – Stampin’ Up!®’s Gathering Together Suite

As we head into fall weather and autumn leaves, you’re going to love the Gathering Together Suite Collection with its gold foil, pretty fall tones and amazing decor dies. Learn how to create this DIY gift card holder in simple steps and autumn colors. Or create your DIY Gift Card bag as a table favor – perfect for showers or Thanksgiving tables capes.

The gift card holder is made from two piece of cardstock – score then attach them as shown, trapping the ribbon in between the layers. Then decorate you like.

Faux Gift Bag Pocket Card – Cutting Instructions

• Card base: 4 ¼” x 10 ½” score at 3 ½”, 5”, 6 ½”
• Card base flap: 4 ¼” x 5 ½” score at 1 ½”
• DSP: front 4” x 3 ¾”, back 4” x 3 ¼”, cut 3 of 4” x 1 ¼” for front flap and inside layers
• Neutral cardstock: 4” x 3 ¾”
• Apply adhesive to the shorter panel of the long strip, add ribbon then press the other card base piece onto the back panel to create the pocket (the video tutorial shows the steps in detail) 😊

These could be great table favors for your holiday table, in any season. Picture them with Christmas decor or Easter flowers in the spring for a variety of sweet treats. Don’t want to put gift cards in the back pocket? Add an extra greeting – or tuck in the cardstock with the name in the back pocket so it shows from the front.

Be sure to check the video tutorial for instructions on creating the ombre color effect on the stamped branches and acorn. Such a pretty complement to the fall color palette.
