Simply Pressed Clay Pendants – Project of the Day

Hello from Salt Lake City! This morning and last night we greeted all our stamping friends – some we only get to see once each year!

The Convention doesn’t technically start til later tonight, but this morning we get to tour the Stampin’ Up! home office in Riverton, Utah.

And we have been sharing ideas like crazy stampers already!! Actually, my first swap was with a new demonstrator friend that I met at O’Hare airport while waiting for a flight!

I wanted to share a quick Project of the Day, too. My friend Sherry Garrett created these way-cool pendants with the Simply Pressed Clay.

Isn’t it great? The butterfly from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set was stamped into the wet clay. Sherry found that the finished pendant was pretty lightweight – too light. So she glued a 2013 penny to the back side. Perfect to commemorate our 2013 Convention!

I’m looking forward to sharing more with you later – wish you all were here, too!

Happy Stamping!

Meg
