We did it! We made a new record for the Guiness Book of World Records! And that was just one small part of our adventures at the Stampin’ Up! Convention on day 1.
(By the way, if the photos don’t show correctly, you can visit my blog online to see the full post)
We did it! Most cards mailed from a single location! They even let me drive the mail truck… Okay, not really, but I understand how much my kids like to play pretend!
We started off the day with a tour of the Riverton home offices of Stampin’ Up!, complete with a chance to see how all those stamps, markers and paper go into boxes that reach our doorsteps.
Then we gathered for the opening of the actual Convention – all 5000+ of us! We got our convention bags handed out – probably my favorite convention bag ever (and I have 10 of them!).
After the session we had an expo with all sorts of things to see. There’s even a Recognition Room this year, where demonstrators who earned an award (for sales, the incentive trip, 10 year anniversary) can go to relax on comfy couches.
It’s hard to say if I’m more excited about the couches or the Coke fountain!
Definitely a full day. And as my friend Mary Ellen Stites put it, I could go home after day 1 feeling inspired and happy. But even better, we get to come back for days 2 and 3!
See you tomorrow!
Happy Stamping!
