Santa’s Secret Notebook: He’s Making a List and Checking it Twice!

Tough Holiday Question #219: What to get or craft for that hard-to-shop-for person on your list. Turns out that it’s not so hard to answer. Just make a customized notebook! Everyone loves cute stationery (okay, except for people who prefer elegant stationery) and the Santa’s Workshop product suite gives you so many mix-and-match options.

(Holiday Grammar Lesson #219: Stationary and stationery are not the same thing. With an ‘e’ near the end, we’re talking about writing paper, notebooks and envelopes. But the ‘a’ at the end refers to something that doesn’t move.)

Now back to your stamping lesson…

The notebooks for this project come from the office supply store – easy to find. The size is 5″ x 8″, so I cut my notebook cover to 8″ x 10 1/2″ and score at 5 1/8″ and 5 3/8″. There’s a tiny overlap, but I like the way the finished notebooks have just a little extra coverage – much better than having your notebook edges show!
