This week I held my monthly Laptops & Lattes class for My Digital Studio–a free evening of coffee (optional) and lessons on digital crafting with MDS2.
Usually when we meet I teach the steps to creating a digital page. We find the page in Stampin’ Success (the monthly demonstrator magazine) or a current catalog, and we CASE it.
If you’re not familiar with CASE, it’s a stamping term that means Copy And Share Everything. It’s flattering to have your work copied (with proper credit, of course ;) This layout is copied from the Snowflake Season Simply Scrappin Layout Kit (see it online).
When I’m teaching MDS2 classes, I especially like designing from layouts that I CASE. That way we can focus on learning to use the tool, and let the design elements come from something ready-to-go.
Snow Season isn’t a digital download — it’s an actual scrapbooking page kit. All the supplies are ready-to-scrap. Perfect for a quick page project, or an activity to do with kids!
Here’s a link to my most recent MDS2 posts. I’m in love!
Happy Stamping!
