Laptops & Lattes: “On the Go” Boy Page

Last night was my monthly Laptops & Lattes class for My Digital Studio.  If you’re in central Illinois, I’d love to have you join us!  (check my events calendar)  We meet the first Wednesday evening of every month, and the class is free. Just bring your coffee and your computer with your copy of My Digital Studio loaded (you can even do the free 30 day trial).  I’ll walk us through a sample page, and then answer all your questions.

Here’s the fun page we created last evening.  I used the On The Go Digital Download (see it online) which includes:

  • 20-piece stamp brush set
  • 12 Designer Series Paper patterns
  • 21 embellishments
  • One-page 12″ x 12″ designer template

I didn’t use the page template, but I did use a sample from the Stampin’ Up! catalog for my pattern!  If you have your catalog handy, check out page 111 for the layout I used.  That’s one of my favorite MDS tricks — instead of designing completely from scratch, pick a layout to copy.  When you’re learning how to use the program, it’s much easier to have the layout ‘done for you’ and just focus on the tools.

Happy Stamping!
