Okay, we didn’t quite make the 500 bags all in 1 hour, but we put a nice dent in the stack!
Each year the Crisis Nursery puts on a Holiday Boutique for kids, where they can shop for presents for Mom or Dad without having Mom or Dad right there to spoil the surprise. The fundraiser is a terrific event, and the Crisis Nursery asks local groups to help by decorating the gift bags that presents will be packaged in to keep the surprise.
This year Amdocs asked again if I would help them with their bags — all 500. During short breaks in their work schedule, employees had a chance to swing by and help decorate bags.
And of course we used Stampin’ Up! stamps!
Favorite tools for bag decorating? Hands down, it was the Stampin’ Around Wheels. Specifically, the Jolly Jingles Wheel from the Holiday Mini Catalog was the favorite. The wheels have the advantage of covering a large area quickly, and with 500 bags there was definitely a lot of area to cover!
