It’s Clear! How to Make A Window Sheet Card

Ever have a piece of Designer Series Paper that had two gorgeous sides – and you couldn’t bear to ‘waste’ one side by layering it so one side was covered?  Here’s a great solution!  Use it for a Window Sheet Card!  Both sides show – and contribute to the overall layering of your finished project.  With the It’s My Party DSP, there are 12 fun patterns – and you’ll want to use them all!

The base material for a Window Sheet Card is transparent, so the layers show through from the front and the back, depending on how you size them.  For this Stamps in the Mail Club Project (get your January kit!), the sizes are a great way to sample the designer paper patterns.

See how it works?  The ‘back’ of the card (the Mint Macaron striped paper) is actually on the back of the window sheet.  But the stripes show through as a layer inside the card as well as all the way through to the front as a layer behind the black confetti paper. 

Be sure to watch the video tutorial for a few tips on dealing with window sheets as your base layer – they’re a little different from regular card stock or paper, and the adhesive gets treated a little bit differently.
