Earlier this week I had a FABULOUS evening crafting with friends. Yup, that’s what a Stampin’ Up! party is all about!! I brought all the supplies to make a couple of fun projects, and this little Halloween bat box was one of them. Do you recognize the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies (135853)?
This is actually a pretty simple punch art creation. Let me get you started!
Be sure to pin the graphic above so you’ll be able to find it again. And if you haven’t already, be sure to follow me on Pinterest!
Start with a medium sized die from the Ovals Collection Framelits (129381) and cut an oval from Basic Black card stock (121045)).
Cut the oval in half on a diagonal.
Use a 1-1/4″ Circle Punch (119861) to cut small curves from the bottom side of each ‘wing’.
Assemble the box and fold a little tab back at the ‘shoulder’ end of each wing. Adhere the wings to the box.
Add the eyes and punch the ears and fangs with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch (122361). After adding the ears to your box, use scissors to clip away the handle between the ears.
Draw the smile and eye sparkle with the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker (132133).
Stamp a little message and punch with the Word Window Punch (119857). Tie on the batty wing and you’re all set!
Happy Stamping!
