Ever find yourself in a hurry, needing a hand-made gift tag as you’re running out the door?
Sad to say, but I find myself in this situation often. You’d think I’d catch on and get ready sooner, but even sadder, alas, I don’t see to learn.
Probably it doesn’t help matters that I can put together a really cute gift tag in about 5 minutes, courtesy of my Big Shot Die Cut Machine and my card stock-coordinated Designer Series Papers!
The tag below was created in just that 5 minute period (plus add a minute to take the photo).
The base of the tag uses the Scallop Circle Die for the Big Shot. Layered on top of the scallop tag is the largest butterfly of the Beautiful Butterflies die. The butterfly was textured with my favorite Textured Impressions Folder–the Polka Dot one.
For the personalized accent, I added the letter “E” for the birthday girl, cut with the Serif Essentials Alphabet from the Sweet & Sour Specialty Paper. Can you see the gloss on this paper? The polka dots are highlighted with embossed clear designs that add extra texture to the fun pattern.
Finally, I added a button from the Brights Designer Buttons, since the Daffodil Delight matched the background tag.
Lots of fun, and only a handful of minutes. Just think–you won’t need to take the extra minute to snap the photo, unless you want to share your tag with me!
Happy Stamping!
Love this! That alphabet set is on my wishlist!!
