Isn’t this this cutest project ever?! When my demonstrator friend Christy Harsch, from Edmonton, Alberta (that’s in Canada, eh?) was here at the beginning of April, we had some extra stamping time and Christy shared this sweet Scallop Circle box with me.
The ‘box’ part uses the Stampin’ Store Containers (see it online) that go with the Stack & Store Caddy (see it online). I actually have 3 of those caddies in my stamping studio–they’re terrific for organizing!
If you have leftover containers from your Stampin’ Up! buttons or brads, those are the perfect size for this project. Or you can get them new in sets of 6.
The hat ‘brim’ is the Scallop Circle Die for the Big Shot, and the hat topper is the 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch. Both were textured with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder (love it!).
The flower was made with the 5-Petal Flower Punch and the Boho Blossoms Punch, plus a Subtles Glimmer Brad to finish off the center.
If you need a Mother’s Day Project, maybe for Girl Scouts or Cub Scouts, or a class project, these would be a perfect quick & inexpensive treat. Plus you can use recycled containers and card stock scraps for the flowers, which makes them an Earth-Day-friendly project!

Happy Stamping!
