Crafting Hacks: Silhouette Cards with Dashing Deer

Got extra Stampin Dimensionals laying around? Then this is the project for you! Of course I’m joking – everyone has extra Stampin Dimensionals around…except that one day back in August when I ran out. Wow. Day for the history books, right? Joking aside, this is a fun project – especially for stamp sets like Dashing Deer where the dies are a gorgeous complement to the stamped images.

Whichever set you use, there are a few tips and tricks (aka crafting hacks) for making these Silhouette Cards simple.

Best tricks? I have two for the Silhouette Card:

1. Use a separate card layer for the stamped image inside the silhouette – makes for easy positioning when you’re putting layers together.
2. Use more Stampin Dimensionals that you think – be sure the outer edges of the upper layer are supported to keep your silhouette strong.
