Truly, adding texture to a card is one of my favorite tried-and-true tricks for dressing up a background. This card, adapted from the soon-to-retire 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, features the pretty Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies in a different way. Instead of using them to cut the card stock, this card uses the dies to created a dry embossed background.
What? Embossing with cutting dies? How does that work?
The Big Shot Embossing Mats (available while supplies last) can turn any cutting die into an embossing tool. I’ll teach you how (step-by-step) in the video tutorial, plus I’ll share some tips for stamping with this pretty all-occasions stamp set.
