Telescoping Triple Oval Card: Festive & Fun

Yesterday at Stamp Club with Meg we made two projects… one I’ll save for next week, because we’re also making it on Friday Night at my LovenStampfuls Demonstrator Group Stamp & Share.  So hang in there for that one!  But I wanted to share this Telescoping Card today.

You might have seen these done with circles and scallop circles, but I wanted to try something different, and to use my Festive & Fun stamp set (love it! — see it online)  We used the Oval Scallop Frame Die for the Big Shot (see it online) to form the layers of the card.

The front is done with Blender Pens and ink from the Cajun Crazy, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry ink pads, on Confetti White Card Stock.

**TOOL TIP: Like the Stitched Velvet Ribbon (see it online)?  It only comes in Vanilla, but you can color it with your Stampin’ Write Markers from the back side!!  I used the Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Marker here.

Here are the steps:

  1. Cut one Scallop Oval Frame and three ovals with the Big Shot.  Cut one oval by hand slightly larger than the die cut oval and glue frame & bottom oval.
  2. Decorate as desired, then begin by attaching a ribbon pull to the top layer at the left with a brad.
  3. Continue by stacking the top two ovals and attach them together with a brad at the bottom right side.
  4. Stack onto the bottom oval/frame and attach the middle layer to the bottom with another brad.

Happy Stamping!
