I had no idea you cared so much!! The biggest responses ever were to my question last week: do you like fun fold cards of ALL kinds, or mostly the ones that LOOK complicated but actually are pretty simple? While you’re probably not going to be shocked by the answer, but you might be surprised that hundreds of people took a moment to chime in with a response. And overwhelmingly, you love fun fold cards that are actually (secretly) simple.
Today’s Fun Fold Diagonal Cut with a Belly Band fits the bill – super simple, but with a fun surprise when it’s opened.
The directions are simple!
Diagonal Cut Fun Fold Card Directions
- Score a full sheet of cardstock in half both directions to make a + sign. Cut cardstock in half on the diagonal (cut should go through the center of the scored lines).
- Cut DSP to 4” x 5 ¼” for the front then cut along diagonal to match card base.
- Cut layer inside to 4” x 5 ¼”.
- Cut 1” x 11” strip for band. Decorate belly band as desired – hide join under tag or at back.
