A great card layout is one that can adapt to the stamps and designer series paper at hand – and the Reverse Panel Fold is a champion! Did you recognize this layout from my card the other day? Maybe not – as that card featured engineering and airplanes, and this one changes for a softer look with the Country Woods Suite Collection – specifically the Country Floral stamps and die bundle.
Don’t miss the label though – it’s from my new favorite label set, Unbounded Love Dies. The Unbounded Love greetings are pretty fabulous too, and I’m keeping them both in my ‘easy grab’ pile for stamps. Do you have a stack of stamps or dies that you use frequently enough that they never quite get returned to their proper put away place?
The coloring on this card is easily done with the Stampin Blends Markers – in Smoky Slate, Petal Pink, Misty Moonlight and Soft Sea Foam to match the Country Lace Designer Series Paper.
To get the look on the bucket, first lay down an even layer of Smoky Slate Light, then go back and add the edging with the Smoky Slate Dark. Go back one last time and color with Smoky Slate Light at the intersection between the two tones to soften the transition. Don’t forget to put one extra swipe of marker along the handle to create that light shadow.
