Serene Snowflakes: A Simple Shaker Frames Card

These cards with shaker boxes used to be tricky, but with the new Shaker Frames (see them online), they’re a snap!  You’ll need circle punches, Shaker Frames, a Window Sheet and Mica Flakes (see them online) to make a Serene Snowflakes Shaker Card.

These cards are probably simper than you think — here are the directions:

  1. serene-snowflakes-shaker frames tutorial how toBegin by stamping, then punching your circles.  Using the punched white card stock as a guide, layer the punched snowflakes on the main card.  Ink colors here are Rich Razzleberry, Marina Mist, and Melon Mambo.
  2. On the back of your white card front, add a layer of Window Sheet then add the Shaker Frame circles. The Shaker Frames (see them online), come with a variety of circle sizes, so with a variety of Circle Punches, you can use all the circle frames on your cards.  Snowflakes are perfect–they punch easily in all sizes!
  3. Lay a small stack of Mica Flakes on the snowflake circles, then flip the card front over and layer on top.

So pull out your circle punches and your snowflake stamps, and make some of your own falling snow cards! Or are you coming to Stamp Club today?  Good news!  This is one of the projects you’ll make to take home with you!  Be sure to check my calendar for other upcoming events in central Illinois.

Happy Stamping!
