In scrapbooking, sometimes simple does the trick. When your photo is a huge focal point (close-ups on faces are terrific for this) you can get away with a design that uses lots of white space.
Hard to believe that summer is nearly over. Ice skating team try-outs are this Sunday, and then we’ll be into another fun season of competitions.

Here are a few digital scrapbooking tips from this page:
- Make your photo elements pop out: I pulled the headband color to perfectly match the chevrons on the right side of the page.
- The chevrons are all designed to match up with each other for layering purposes. See how the pink/purple chevrons on the right have a matching grunge layer? That’s all in the Chevron Punch digital kit!
Try coloring your digital stamps with different shades: the Fantabulous You Digital Download has some terrific text art, like the “BEyouTIFUL” title here. I used that same headband color to pull the three elements together — the chevrons, the title and the photo. (see Fantabulous You in my online store)
