Have you seen the latest Muppet Movie yet? There’s a character (the bad guy) who can’t laugh, so he goes around saying, “Maniacal laugh… maniacal laugh…” It’s become a family joke at our house, and all of us occasionally pipe up with, “Maniacal laugh…” when we come across something crazy.
Well that’s how I have to feel about this Occasions Mini Catalog. It’s so exciting, but a bit crazy, too! Did you see my Sneak Peeks back in December? Well now you can FINALLY browse the Occasions Mini Catalog online (click here to browse–be sure to click ‘view all’) or you can download the whole Mini Catalog right to your computer (click to download).
There is SO much packed into this Mini Catalog that you’re going to want to go over it a few times…and then once more. And if you’re a Big Shot fan, then you are going to go CRAZY over all the new tools!
Here are two of my favorite NEW toys:
- Framelits Collections: They come in both Hearts Collection and Labels Collection (I used these on Tuesday for my Valentine cocoa gift). These are new Toys for the Big Shot, and come as a nested set of several dies. They’re easy to position because they have a hole in the center (it’s just a rigid cutting blade, though amazingly not sharp to touch). Check out some of my blog projects with Framelits
- Adorning Accents Edgelits: So sweet! There are actually two products here — the Edgelit that does the cutting (like the Framelits, but just a straight line) and the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder that matches the Edgelit. You can use just one for either the gorgeous cut edge or the textured edge, or use one then the other for a textured, embossed edge, like on this card here.
And of course that doesn’t even touch on the stamps… and the Designer Rosette Die… eek! So much to share. Be sure to keep an eye out over my next few days for more Occasions Mini Catalog project ideas!
