The vellum sheets that are part of the Floral Romance Specialty Paper are simply beautiful. Pretty images in gorgeous colors, and they simply beg for a card layout that shows off the vellum. For Stamps in the Mail Club in March, I designed this vellum feature card – perfect for making the most of the paper.
There are several layers of visual interest on this card, but the stamped circle piece shows off the pretty floral spray from the Wonderful Romance stamp set, along with some simple watercoloring with Aqua Painters. And the die cut “thanks” from the Well Written Framelits can be mixed and matched for any occasion, since Well Written includes such a terrific variety of greetings.
Be sure to watch the video tutorial for my ‘best practices’ tips for using Aqua Painters and adding simple watercolor to your backgrounds. I love the way the stamps are used in this card, since the stamped image is cut with a simple circle punch or circle framelits.
