Like we said last week, an engineered card with a pop-up or secret panel is a great guy card – or for any of the favorite mechanical or techy people in your life! I specialize in making fun folds simple, so today’s card is a combination of panels that open both the way you’d expect as well as in reverse, but I promise that there’s nothing hard about making this card layout. AND the layout can be applied to any stamp set and designer series paper combo – but the new He’s the Man Suite is perfect if you’re looking for a guy card.
The laser cut elements on the front of this card come from the He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper. Layer them with a die cut element to give the focal point extra attention.
And the card opens fully with the reverse panel to reveal the last greeting element.
Another great option is to use the stamp set to create your focal point images. On this card version instead of the designer series paper laser cut elements, I’ve stamped a birthday greeting that fits with the cars and motorcycles on the paper.
But the card still opens the same way.
And the innermost layer includes a fun all-occasions sentiment – life is an adventure!
