Founder’s Circle: Day 4

How could this day be so packed?! Looking back over my pictures I can’t believe it was all one day, but then again, this whole trip was a whirlwind: lots to do, lots to see, and not much sleep to slow it all down ;-)

First thing in the morning I jumped out of bed (yes, jumped–I was so excited!) for another half-day of hiking. My friends Lynsay Mahon and Sarah Schueler and I went to Snow Canyon State Park.

After hiking we grabbed a quick lunch and then put our Make n Take projects together… more on those later, but my Stamp Clubbers will definitely be seeing the cute fold-out scrapbook that Lynsay and I are holding here! You can see the great hospitality suite in the background. Did I mention that Stampin’ Up! shipped those couches here just for us? :-) The pink blankets were so soft!!

Stampin’ Up! had a mystery dinner planned for us, so you can imagine how excited we were to get off the buses and saw this fun movie set-up, complete with a wonderful pink blanket for each of us! If this place looks familiar, you may have seen it on High School Musical 2–this is where that movie was filmed!

Like I said, we love our pink blankets :-) These are my friends Aly Schilling and Catherine Pooler.

And what movie is complete without popcorn?! Quick, check out those popcorn cones!! They’re made from the Parisian Summer Designer Series Paper!! Who but Stampin’ Up! would dream of these things? One edge of a 12×12 piece of DSP was punched with the Scallop Edge Punch, then the cone was rolled up and secured with Silver Brads. Aren’t they great?

So we had a gourmet pizza dinner (shrimp alfredo pizza–yum!) and sat watching our movie while the sun set. It was a relaxing finish to a wonderful whirlwind trip.
