Emboss Your Easter Eggs: A Good Egg Design

Time to get ready with your Easter card ideas!  If you’re home on Spring Break, whip out your stamps and enjoy some creating time. I’m sure there’s a joke about stamping with chicks here, but I can’t quite come up with it, so you’ll have to use your imagination. LOL

Here’s a card that we made at Stamp Club with Meg in March (see more Stamp Club with Meg ideas):

Here’s the technique, adapted from one shared in our Stampin’ Success demonstrator magazine.  Stampin’ Success is just one more perk of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator (learn more on my website):

Begin with basic embossing supplies, a detailed line-art stamp, Glossy White card stock and an Aqua Painter.

  1. Heat emboss the image on Glossy White card stock with clear Emboss Powder.
  2. Create a palette of colors with drops of Classic Ink refills on scratch paper or a paper plate
  3. Spritz the embossed image with water
  4. Use an Aqua Painter to pick up color and touch it to part of the embossed image.  Color will spread through the compartment.  Allow card stock to dry.

Happy Stamping!
