Color Block: Card Design Made Easy

Did you know that you can pick stamp sets from the MAIN catalog as free Sale-A-Bration gifts? You can!

You probably already know that when you order $50 in Stampin’ Up! product between now and March 31st, you’ll receive a free stamp set (or other gift) of your choice from the Sale-A-Bration Mini Catalog (download it here).

What you may not have realized is that the last page of the SAB Mini Catalog has a list of 60+ stamp sets from the main catalog that are also available!

Here is a card that uses 2 of those possible free stamp sets: Three Little Words (see it online) and Funky Four (see it online).

This card was one of the ones we made at our LovenStampfuls Demonstrator Class on Friday evening.  It’s not too late to sign up as a new Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (at a discount!) and take advantage of these extra learning opportunities in our group. Email me if you don’t already have a local demonstrator and would like more details.

This COLOR BLOCK technique is easy!  I just used the 1-1/4″ Square Punch to punch out the 3 colored squares, and then sized the Whisper White layer on top to match the width of the three squares.  The whole color block is mounted on the Old Olive, and I trimmed that layer to fit inside the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (see it online).

Note that if you’d like to just purchase these stamp sets, you can do that with the links above. If you’d like to pick these as your free Sale-A-Bration selections, you’ll need their SAB alter-ego order numbers from the SAB Mini Catalog.

Happy Stamping!
