Happy 4th of July! I hope you and yours have a fabulous day, celebrating in your own style. At our house we’ll be going to a parade, decorating bikes for our own neighborhood parade and getting together for a big potluck cookout before the fireworks.
If you don’t have anything to wear, you can whip up a quick outfit — as long as you have kitchen sponges, acrylic paint and some imagination!
Directions are easy – just cut the sponges to stars or other shapes, sponge on the paint in red, blue and silver, then wait til dry.
The creations above were made during one of my Summer Scrap Camp for Kids sessions this summer. I absolutely love the creativity of the kids!

Does the acrylic wash out after a few washes?
