Christmas is coming – and today’s project and video tutorial will give you a kick-start idea for making fun fold cards with the Peace & Joy stamp set. For a different look, I’ve paired them with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (it’s not just for snowflakes!) and created a surprise Gate Fold Card that opens in the center.
Where does the magic come in? It’s with the 3″ x 4″ card layout that I love so much. (More 3×4 DSP card ideas from LovenStamps) When you cut your DSP to 3×4, or a little smaller, in this case 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″, you’ll be getting 12 card pieces from a single piece of 12×12 cardstock. When it comes to Christmas cards and you’re making a bundle, you’ll find this layout tip so helpful.
In the video tutorial, I’ll share some tips – including this gem on how to use the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon but avoid having to tie a knot or a bow that will just loosen out anyway.
