20+ Ideas to Make the Most of the NEW Bijou Butterfly Paper

Today’s card is the second in my March LovenStamps Monthly Tutorials – all featuring the NEW Butterfly Brilliance Collection, available now! Our card today showcases the Brilliant Wings Dies and their perfect coordination with the Butterfly Bijou DSP, all set off by the Natural Touch Specialty Paper. I think you’ll agree that this butterfly stamp and die bundle creates special opportunities for design.

Here’s the first step – after cutting butterflies out of the Bijou DSP, and cutting the same shape from the Natural Touch Specialty Paper, start adding Mini Stampin Dimensionals to support the frame:

After the frame is applied to the cardstock, the butterflies can be added back in place:

Then the edges will need to be trimmed away to finish the card.

And voila, with greeting and paper quilling curls to add embellishment and texture, the card is all set.

There are so many clever ways to add little touches to this butterfly card. Today’s video included tips on Paper Quilling, too. Something about the curls of paper make me feel like the butterfly is free and flying – a perfect accent for this pretty Butterfly Brilliance card layout.
