Cards don’t need color to be beautiful – texture can go a long way toward creating interesting and gorgeous card layouts. Today’s card features the monochromatic color scheme of black, white and gray, along with the Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper. These pretty papers feature a mix of contrasting designs that go together beautifully.

Instead of featuring a specific image, the strips of Designer Series Paper come together to create the background for a die cut greeting from the Textured Notes stamp set. Layer the strips on a piece cut from the Textured Notes Dies.

Finally, the texture from the White 1/4″ Ribbon can set aside a light contrast to the dark card base. Be sure to check the video tutorial for tricks on getting the ribbon to flow exactly where you’d like it.
