Not only is this card one that we’ll make tonight at my Hostess Appreciation Party, but it’s also one of the cards that my Stamps in the Mail Club members will make with their June kits! (yes, you can still sign up for Round 16 of Stamps in the Mail right now–you haven’t missed out yet!)
I absolutely love the way More Mustard and Chocolate Chip complement the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz Spray. And the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set sure seems to come in handy over and over again.
The Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Paper is a must-have item from the Summer Mini Catalog, whether you have Smooch Spritzes or not. There are so many great ways to use your inks to reveal the gorgeous patterns.
This was a simple card to create:
- Start with a Chocolate Chip card folded in half — 4 1/4 x 8 1/2″
- Spray the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz 3-4 times on the Presto Designer Paper (3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″), revealing the resist grid pattern image. Waiting a moment for the Spritz to begin drying, use a tissue to wipe away excess Spritz from the design.
- Layer Presto and Whisper White layers and add Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.
- Stamp and punch 3 Itty Bitty Bits in Chocolate Chip and More Mustard ink. Layer on the punched Large Oval and layer on the Scallop Oval as shown. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The thing that really ‘makes’ this card though, is the Rough Type Alphabet stamped greeting on the inside. 🙂
