If it feels like this Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper is appearing in all my cards lately, it’s because Stampin’ Up! did a FABULOUS thing – created a DSP that features a little bit of so many great stamp sets that don’t have their own designer paper (like Just My Type). So with this ONE package of DSP, there is a paper to match MANY different stamp sets!
Of course color inspiration for projects is right behind… Get inspired by the Delightfully Eclectic DSP, since it includes a variety of color combinations that work beautifully together. The colors here are straight out of the DSP.
Today’s card is also a reverse of the 3×4 DSP card that I love so much. Instead of using a 3×4 DSP piece, the DSP is swapped and used as the background (at 4 x 5-1/4 in) while the 3×4 piece is the main panel and stamped – because Just My Type includes so many fun images for stamping.
For #simplestamping there are always a few tricks to be added, like layering certain parts of the image, like with the typewriter paper here on this card. To make the paper look like it’s coming from the typewriter, add glue along the bottom edge and double up the Stampin Dimensionals at the top.
Finally, be sure to make the most of the stamps in the Just My Type stamp set by adding stamped elements to the envelope!
