This stamp was my absolute favorite when I looked through the NEW catalog back at the Stampin’ Up! Convention this past summer. I just thought it was SO cute!!
This gift bag is based on one shown at the Stampin’ Up! Convention–everyone made this version at Stamp Club with Meg this month. The frosting is done with a cool reinker technique and the Designer Series Paper is from the Sweet Always set. Yummy! The colors are Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie and Regal Rose.
Swirled Craft Ink Frosting Technique:
On a plastic surface (like an old CD) daub 2-3 drops of White Craft Reinker. Add a tiny drop of Classic Reinker in the desired color. Use a Sponge Dauber to mix the inks together, then swirl the ink onto your cardstock. Stamp a cupcake or other similar stamp over the swirled ink so that it looks like frosting.
Here is another hint though: I knew that I wouldn’t usually use the words that come as part of this stamp, so I cut them out of the center of the cupcake and mounted them on another wood block. This way I can add them if I want, but don’t need to use them all the time!
And one more thing… this stamp is on SALE during October! It’s so cute… the very first new stamp I bought out of the new catalog, so I’m sure you need it too ;-)
