POP UP Diamond Panel Card – Alternate Card Ideas with Stampin’ Up!®’s Paper Pumpkin

Did you know that Paper Pumpkin kits can be purchased sometimes as refills with all the consumables, or even occasionally as full past kits with stamps and ink included? This month’s April Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin Refill is online now, and it’s perfect for summertime stamping. The Pop Up Diamond Panel Card is an easy one to adapt to the printed card bases included in the paper pumpkin. And the Special Delivery kit from January adds the perfect stamps (and another Diamond Pop Up Panel idea).

The Pop Up Diamond Panel Card just adds an extra strip of DSP plus a few score lines. Score your card base at 2 1/8 inches from each end and at 4 1/4 in the middle. Cut a paper strip 8 1/4 inches wide and score both ends at 2 1/8 and 3 1/8. Then fold and attach as I’ve shared in the video tutorial. I shared a Turtle-y Awesome card with this layout last spring.

Remember that stamps can easily be mixed and matched between kits. The Special Delivery stamp set may look like it’s only for valentines, but it’s perfect for today’s Lakeside Retreat, too.
