This stamp set somehow slipped me by last year – but I’m so glad that I pulled it out because the little rustic crate die cut is delightful! Plus you have choices – stamp the crate simply, or stamp and die cut, or add inked texture to a realistic wood grain look with this inked die trick (which may or may not result in inky fingers).
I love the way the Gold Mercury Vellum sets off the focal point of this card.
And the Jute Trim is the perfect rustic accent for the Rustic Crate stamps and dies.
The Z Fold card is easily created – just fold the front edge of the card base back to the spine and layer the Iconic Celebrations designer paper on top of the folded front.
Finally, remember that you don’t have to color the crate or the pumpkings (or poinsettias or herbs) that go inside. For the middle layer of this card, I just stamped the crate front from Rustic Crate and masked the top with a postit note before stamping the pumpkins and sunflowers over the top. No coloring even required!
