I love a good #DSPCardBase – which you probably already know from my blog. But have you considered stamping directly on your DSP? I just showed a quick DSP stamping project the other day – see the edges of the candle explosion box that I shared last week on Facebook. This project combines the DSP card base, stamping on DSP and word art to create a fun Christmas layout with the Peace & Joy stamp set.
With the coordinating Peace & Joy stamps and Joy Dies (see how the dies and stamps line up exactly?), it’s easy to create this Word Shadow effect – sort of a faux block letter technique.
And of course you’ll want to stamp the inside of your card.
I love the snowflakes on the inside of the DSP. With this particular paper from the Snowflake Splendor suite, it’s easiest to stamp on the watercolor-looking side of the paper, since the design on this snowflake side might obscure the images. Good think a DSP Card Base allows us to ‘use’ both sides of a pretty paper!
