I had fun sharing so many cute ideas shared at my Open House last Friday night! Here’s the snack table…
The cupcake toppers were easy! Stampin’ Up! offered demonstrators at Convention a chance to order a Sissix die that embosses and die-cuts the Stampin’ Up! 20 year anniversary logo. So all I did was add the cardstock to the die, crank it through my new Big Shot and pop out the cute cupcake topper! I used a Stampin’ Sponge piece with Whisper White ink to brush across the front of the topper to bring out the dry embossing.
The water bottles looked classy massed together–also easy! One of my Open House guests was even talking about taking her bottle home and putting it on display :-) The Designer Paper Strips are Bella Rose and the designs on the front use the new Say It With Scallops stamp set and the Square Scallop Punch.
Finally, I used an idea demo’d at Convention and made little flower candies (York Peppermint Patties) using the Birds & Blooms Sizzlets Die 4-pack. The little flowers are cut from Bella Rose Designer Series Paper and layered for the great effect. The sticks are just bamboo skewers stuck through the wrappers into the candy. And then of course the Striped Riding Hood Red Grosgrain Ribbon around the pots. Very simple!
