Although really, why would you shake a stick at stamping projects? And why shake a stick anyway? Hmm… if you know the history of that phrase, feel free to drop me a comment!
But back to stamping… yes, more swaps from our LovenStampfuls demonstrator project swap.
Here’s one from demonstrator Kathy Stone. The front has subtle stamping plus a dry embossed image from the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder.
The card opens to show 4 panels, including one with a large oval cut-out and one with a pocket. This is a clever way to showcase a variety of greetings and stamping ideas.
This next card was swapped by Melissa Guldberg, and WOW, I love this technique! It’s a simple Embossed Resist card, but oh so elegant! Here are the steps for the technique:
- On olive Designer Series Paper, heat emboss the Medallion stamp with Clear Embossing Powder.
- Use a Brayer to add Soft Suede ink to the entire piece of Designer Series Paper.
- Gently wipe away extra ink from the embossed image with tissue.
Plus the Medallion stamp (115223) is a perfect choice for this technique.
Happy Stamping!
I love a good research project. I think I found the information you are looking for about the phase:
