Last week I was fortunate to be on vacation with my husband–on an 8 day cruise, compliments of Stampin’ Up!! Each year demonstrators have a chance to earn an incentive trip, and this year the trip was on the Adventure of the Seas in the Southern Caribbean.
We left from San Juan (our first time to Puerto Rico) last Sunday and Monday was our first day at sea. I’ll be sharing more each day THIS week–I’m excited to get some of my pictures onto scrapbook pages.
I thought I’d start out with some stamping though. On Friday night we had our cruise Make N Take session from midnight to 2 am. So I guess it was really Saturday morning, right? If I appear awake, it’s only because I drank a LOT of coffee that evening!
I sat with several demonstrator friends as well as Scott Nielsen (CFO of Stampin’ Up! and former Yankees pitcher) and his wife Pam. Scott and Pam actually got to teach us demonstrators how to do our Make N Take projects. They thought that was pretty funny, since neither of them do all that much stamping ;-)
Here’s one of my Make N Take projects (the one on the right side), using the new Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack from the Summer Mini Catalog, as well as a really cute stamp set that will be available in the new BIG catalog that debuts on July 1st.
I adapted the Cruise Make N Take to create the card on the left. The left side card uses the new Itty Bitty Bits stamp set and Bitty Buttons (available NOW in the Summer Mini Catalog), and is one of the cards we’ll make as part of my new Stamps in the Mail Club Round. You can still sign up–be sure to check the details on my website!
