Isn’t “Lovely As A Tree” one of your all-time favorite stamp sets? It sure sits near the top of my list! It’s been around forever but I pull it out regularly.
Here’s a Big Shot Christmas card that I designed for my Christmas Card Crank last week. We stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink on the Night of Navy cardstock, and used the greeting from Many Merry Message (another great flexible set!).
The Top Note Big Shot die was used to make the frame and the insert for the inside of the card. We just centered the Brocade Blue cardstock on the die and put it through the machine. The White Taffeta Ribbon on the side gave the perfect extra touch.
And the greeting was stamped on the inside using the Top Note die-cut piece–also in Whisper White Craft Ink and the Many Merry Messages stamp set.
So be sure to look at both pieces when you’re using the Big Shot–the die-cut piece AND the scrap left over!!
