Inspired By Nature (and the SU Catalog Techniques) with the Stampin’ Up!® Nature Walk Suite

The Nature Walk Suite Collection has great curb appeal for me – I loved it just from seeing it. But… do you ever struggle with what to make? When you’ve got the paper and stamps actually in front of you, nothing particular comes to mind? That’s when I look for inspiration – from the Stampin’ Up! samples!! Online or in print, there are great ideas on how to use the Nature Walk DSP and Nature’s Symphony die bundle.

This card features a two-fer, one card created purposefully, and one card from repurposing the leftovers. Check it out in two color ways – Shaded Spruce and Pretty Peacock.

This is a terrific technique tutorial card, too. Two techniques are included: heat embossing (be sure to listen to the video for tips – including how I totally messed up and managed to recover) and how to use Foam Adhesive Sheets.

The Foam Adhesive Sheets are a GREAT tool for making these kind of silhouette cards, because the total coverage on the foam means that there are no gaps or saggy parts to our cards.

And no one wants saggy cards, right??

Keep in mind that you don’t have to use full brand new sheets to get total coverage on your Foam Adhesive Sheets. If you sew, you know that piecing batting is a game changer – use those scraps. So feel free to piece Foam Adhesive Sheets too – no piece is too small!
