Hello from St. George, Utah!

Between hiking in the Colorado River and PJ parties with my stamping sisters, this has been a busy few days on the Stampin’ Up! Founder’s Circle trip! The scenery and chance to catch up with fellow demonstrators between Las Vegas and our hotel in St. George, Utah was the perfect kick-off to this week of pampering!

Here is the sign outside our hotel when I arrived on Wednesday–and there’s me on the far left, along with my friends Lynsay, Ruth and Jen. Great to be welcomed when you first pull up!

And then again when I found my room–complete with a cute name plaque tied with, what else? Pink Pirouette ribbon to match the fabulous leather bags we received when we found out that we were part of the top 100 demonstrators in Stampin’ Up!

In the hospitality room there is a cart of these fun glass jars, each with their own stamped tag and filled with candy of all types. We each have a little metal pail (tied with Pink Pirouette Ribbon :-) and we can fill it up with snacks all day or night. How fun is that? I hear that in some parts of Canada this is the vogue at weddings–a candy bar!

Hmm…I do seem to be focusing on food here ;-) but our dinner tables for the welcome reception were beautiful, too. A satin tablecloth plus all kinds of matching accouterments, and of course another Pink Pirouette ribbon.

And after dinner, when I came back to my room (exhausted by all the fun of travel and visiting with so many friends during the day) I found that the Stamp Fairy had been to my room! Yes, tied with a Pink Pirouette ribbon was a cute make-up case hanging in my shower. But even better, it was filled with Stampin’ Pads and a brand new stamp set that will come out in January! Really, what’s more fun than FREE STAMPS?! :-)
