Don’t you love it when the pretty front of your card is STILL showing once the card is opened? This fabulous fancy fold – the Extended Z Fold – creates the perfect way to have a pretty card front and a full card experience all together. With the gold foil on the Most Adored Designer Series Paper (one of the Saleabration selections) the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder and stamp set create perfect accents.

This card doesn’t have to be a valentine – but it definitely makes a great one! Change up the colors for any occasion by brayering the DSP to match your theme. The example at the top features the un-brayered Most Adored DSP, and the hearts example here shows the brayered hearts paper on the front – both the same white background, just adjusted to feature the colors selected.
Plus the Extended Z Fold is so simple!
How to Make an Extended Z Fold Card
- Cut card base to 4″ x 11″ and score at 1 1/4″ and 5 1/2″.
- Fold in half, then fold front flap back. Attach 4″ x 4″ panel (Most Adored Sale-A-Bration paper here).
- Inside card, layer a Basic White cardstock for greeting over a 1 1/2″ DSP strip for decoration.
- Stamp and decorate as desired, shown here with the Adoring Hearts stamp set and coordinating Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies.
