Bright, Bold Color with Watercolor Block Prints and Stampin’ Up!®’s NEW Garden Poetry Suite

Bold, saturated colors are the hallmark of the new Garden Poetry Suite Collection – just released this month with a beautiful designer series paper and the coordinating Paradise Garden stamp and die set – and embossing folder! Choose from 6 different colors in the DSP or mix and match them. One side is printed with pretty flowers, and the other is a gorgeous (no work required) watercolor paper pattern in a coordinating color.

Today’s card features the stamps (flowers and greeting) from Paradise Garden and highlights the greeting with the hexagon die cut from the bundle. Note that the two large label dies in this set include a cut around the edge plus a light embossing line just inside the edge – for an elegant extra design element.

The ribbon (Berry Burst 1/4 inch Shiny Ribbon) adds an extra element along with the little flower Garden Epoxy Dot. Together they make a beautiful greeting stand out as a strong design element.

The Watercolor Block Print Technique comes in one more time for a beautiful accent. I promise…I’ll learn a new technique soon and stop using this one on every card!! Or maybe I won’t – I’m having an awfully good time with this one. There are endless color combinations to try with all the Stampin’ Up! Colors!
